Religious Studies courses

Theology (Philosophy, Ethics and Religion)

The A-level Theology course involves a rigorous study of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics and how these relate to the world in which we live and their impact on local and global issues. Students consider the deepest questions humans can ask. For example, why am I here? Why do people suffer? Why should I be good?

The course enables students to develop an enquiring, critical and reflective approach to the study of theology. Students will critically evaluate and justify points of view through the use of evidence and reasoned argument.
